◉ FAQ

Short answers to the things people ask first.

Missing something? Email hello@veezow.com.

What exactly does Veezow do?

We run a live audit of the five AI-crawler bots (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, CCBot) plus the public signals they depend on — robots.txt, sitemap, canonical, structured data, Common Crawl presence, Wayback history, Wikipedia/Wikidata entity. You get a visibility score and a ranked fix list, in about 12 seconds.

Is it actually free?

Yes. No credit card, no trial clock. Scan any domain without signing up. Free accounts monitor up to three domains with weekly re-scans. Pro ($29/mo) removes the domain limit and adds continuous alerts + AI-answer snapshots.

What data do you store?

Only what you tell us to: the domains you submit, the public metadata we pull to generate the report, and your email if you sign up. We never store private page content. If you sign up we also log auth events (sign-in, password changes) for your security — you can see these on /account.

Why do some sites show 0% reply rate or other weird metrics?

Veezow reports what the public sources say. When a signal is missing or a sample is too small to be meaningful, we show "—" rather than a misleading zero.

Can Veezow actually improve my AI visibility?

Veezow measures. You improve. The fix list gives you the specific changes — unblock GPTBot in robots.txt, publish an Organization schema, tighten a broken canonical. Most teams ship the top three fixes in under a day. Then monitor for drift.

How is this different from an SEO tool?

Traditional SEO tools were built for Google blue-link results. AI search engines are different: they crawl with different user-agents, respect different signals, synthesize answers rather than rank pages, and cite different sources. Veezow is built from the AI-bot side of the equation.

Which engines are covered?

ChatGPT (via GPTBot), Claude (ClaudeBot), Perplexity (PerplexityBot), Gemini (Google-Extended), and the Common Crawl corpus that underpins many training runs (CCBot). We also monitor Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wayback, HN, and Reddit for brand signals.

Does Veezow need access to my site?

No. Everything we use is publicly reachable. You don't need to install an agent, verify ownership, or share admin credentials. Run a scan on any domain — your own, a competitor's, a portfolio target.

How often can I scan?

Unlimited on-demand scans. Rate limiting only kicks in if a single IP goes over 10 scans per 15 minutes.

How do I get started?

Type a domain on the homepage and press Scan. That's it. If you want continuous monitoring and alerts, create a free account.
